There is no requirement for the individual to speak English or have relevant business experience or education.
The monies may be in the form of a gift.
The investor may work, live, or own his/her own business in the U.S. as well as travel in and out of the U.S. without a visa.
Permanent Residents are also entitled to a variety of social welfare programs such as social security.
The San Francisco region has several world class universities as well as private and public schools; the investor's children may benefit from reduced tuition.
Permanent residents may to apply for citizenship after 5 years of residency
